a year or so ago Alec met a girl on the subway who later revealed she was "Turqoise." the Colors Project is a tv show on new york's manhattan neighborhood network which said girl was a part of producing - she later asked asked Alec's band the Canaries if they wanted to play on the show. Or maybe the birds imposed. Or maybe eskimeaux's Canary sister-band the Duchess of Lightning imposed.anyway, we played. this is video of that. it was a very confusing night. i thought we played decently considering everybody was wasted and interrupting and it was mixed and edited like shit. oh well. both bands are dead so this is nothing more than a footnote in a footnote of history. enjoy!
