New Le Rug E.P. (very short, very limited)

Hello there!

Next week i will be going to visit Conor in Pittsburgh where i will be working for Obama for 4 days. While there I am going to record 3 new Le Rug tracks which we will post on the internet for a couple of days for the Tamur community to enjoy. After the post is up, please feel free to let me know what you think of the new material. I have been listening to nothing but the Replacements and Bruce Springsteen, so the new material will most definatley be a departure from older material. The name for this E.P. will probably emerge after the recordings are finished. The album will NOT be pressed, it will only be availible on the internet, and only for a limited time. I would like to have a new album released in a little over half a year.

So yeah, get psyched, if you do get psyched over these types of things.

Exciting News.....

Hello all. So i was talking to Conor last night and we have decided on undertaking 2 projects.

The FIRST of which will be a Tamur Records Compilation on vinyl. We will make approximately 100 copies and we will be sending it out to various media and blog outfits. I will have the track listing hammered out later today. If you would like to make it clear that you would like to be on the comp (of course you must already be featured on Tamur) please leave your request in the comments as i will be checking it today.

The SECOND project involves you. I will be accepting submissions to my email of demos of groups that would like be on Tamur Records. Conor and I will go through the various submissions and pick one or two groups and record an E.P for them and put them up on the website. If you are interested in submitting your demo for consideration, please email a zip. file of your demo to lerugray@gmail.com

I will stop accepting submissions on Nov 1st, which means you have a month to send me something. If you have any questions, feel free to leave comments or email me.
